Morphing & Evolving Pad In Massive

It's now time to give our song some melodic content!

It is important that EVERY element of a track which has timbre attributes itself toward a final, coherent piece.

By this I mean that in creating a piece, whether it be a complete idea pre-production or ongoing experimentation - it is imperative that every element of the track lends itself to the outcome you want to achieve or the way you want the listener to feel. It is no use wanting to create a moody and dark sounding song and using a Britney Spears acapella to lay over the top. By the same token, if you want the listen to be taken to their "happy place", don't use a hardcore breakdown guitar riff!

The reason I am starting with the pad is that it creates a tinted canvas on which to lay the rest of your ideas.
